Chen Bikovski, a young designer from Israel introduced an amazing series of night lamps called Pop Up lighting inspired by 70′s (I think) pop-up books that by pulling a tab you will get a 3D objects.
“In this project my aim was to bring back the excitement, the surprise and the naivety of the pop-up world into our daily lives”.

Currently the Pop Up lighting includes figures of a deer, peacock and an owl- all are reveal while light is on
.

The light fixtures are made of plastic surfaces and the formative inspiration was taken from the origami world.
