Thesse cool blinds lights designed by Makoto Hirahara To give the illusion that the blinds are blocking light off from the outside, electroluminescent sheets have been fitted under each of the slats that light up with a twist of the plastic stick (origanlly controls the angles on real blinds).

This product was first spotted back in 2007, but only now is available for purchase, price available upon request, if you’re interested.
